If u rmb the ending of the movie oliver said that he will rmb everything n elio sob uncontrollably after that. Is also partial actual feelings that armie n timonthee had. The fact that the fliming is over n they have to separate n end this beautiful "relationship" or chemistry they had with each other n leaving this amazing short-lived life tgt, its heartbreaking. The fact that armie has kept on mentioning how he will nvr forget all the things he went through in the flim is just a prove of that.
Today in 2018, Elio should be 52 years old and Oliver 59. The older man was a tad too aloof in is role, as if he never became emotionally invested in the role.

One of the prettiest movies ive ever seen??. This scene alone deserves him any award, The happiness (Oliver called) surprise (about the engagement) inner anger (about the marriage) subtle pleading (when he told Oliver the his parents knows about them sort of What about us) and longing(calling Oliver by his own name)convey so well, This is THE SCENE that will end all scene.

The fact that the Elio Elio Elio Elio Elio part was improvised by timothée ugh. I loved the book very much and it seemed incredible to me, and to see this beautiful, incredible and excellent adaptation in the cinema, I steal my heart. From small details to the most important ones are included. Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer have an amazing and beautiful chemistry that goes through the screen, the rest of the cast are brilliant and have beautiful moments. I loved the whole plot, a beautiful soundtrack, beautiful landscapes. This movie is one of the most beautiful adaptations I saw. The work of Luca Guadagnino is a marvel, excellent director. About the story, it is one of the most beautiful and I got caught without boredom for more than two hours, I laughed, excited, feeling happy and sad, millions of emotions watching an excellent and one of my favorite movies this year.
I think the lack of challenges they have to overcome (apart from Olivers obviously internalised shame, and the ever present closing time of their summer together) is actually what made this movie so impactful to me. It is heartbreaking at the end even more so because you realise that their relationship had the potential to last so much longer than it did, especially with Elio"s loving and accepting parents. It feels like it wasn"t too far out of reach, and yet it still ended. And really, did it have to? This movie takes away the happy ending that it so easily could have given to us. I think that"s a feeling many of us can relate to. The spitfire scenes with tom hardy are amazing, the other parts can get a little slow but overall really cool movie.
